How to Help

As a non-profit organization, Animal Rescue Kochi can only pursue our vision and goals through the generosity of donors and our well-wishers. We depend entirely on donations to aid in animal rescue, rehabilitation, among others. We are more than happy to share with all of our donors where and how their donations have been utilized. Volunteer

Volunteers at Animal Rescue Kochi provide the animals what they need most: hands-on care, personal attention, compassionate treatment, and much-deserved love.

We also need volunteers who are willing to help us in all aspects of our operation, including:

  • Managing/recording intake of rescued animals
  • Registering vaccination and sterilization details
  • Transport and dropping off animals
  • Catering and cleaning our premises
  • Assisting during surgeries
  • Walking the animals
  • Post-surgical support
  • Support for special care animals
  • Educating the community on animal care
  • Accomplished photography
  • Fostering, rehoming, and follow-ups on adopted pets.

We would prefer that you commit to volunteering for a minimum 1 month. We will provide proper training and development to all interested volunteers.

Sponsorship provides our NGO with the opportunity to support our animal life-saving mission in various ways. Sponsorship from our community, businesses, and individuals alike is essential to our shelter enhancement program as well as help cover medical expenses of individual animals, their daily care, their surgeries, and especially for those animals that cannot be rehomed or released back to their territory due to their delicate medical conditions.
